For Fall-Winter 2025-2026, Cordelia de Castellane takes Baby Dior across the Channel—and straight into the heart of British romanticism. With a nod to the House’s heritage and a wink to its 1960s “Diorling” legacy, this season’s collection unfolds like a storybook soaked in tweed, Lurex, and the comforting chill of London fog.

It begins, quite fittingly, with Diorling—not just a line, but a sensibility. Think belted wool coats with a touch of aristocratic ease, gabardine trenches structured yet tender, and the unmistakable sharpness of Prince of Wales check that no British homage can politely ignore. Linings and piping are not afterthoughts here; they are declarations.

Denim softens the message, blushing in pastel pink and tagged with leather Diorling labels—because even informality must dress the part. T-shirts and sweatshirts in cotton jersey are laced with Lurex-scripted embroidery, offering a casual glimmer to the strolls through Notting Hill or imaginary playdates in Hyde Park.

The silhouettes are meant to move—layered poplin shirts, pleated skirts, and A-line satin dresses do not sit still. They accompany cardigans and sweaters in a monochrome fog of black, heather gray, and charcoal. There is also a child-sized Bar jacket reimagined in Prince of Wales check—because tradition, even when shrunken, still demands presence.

For boys, Castellane ventures into urban storytelling. Dior Oblique suits in denim share space with overshirts and pale blue sweatpants—streetwear with aristocratic diction. A new “Christian Dior Paris” logo stakes a claim in this updated London playground, casually elegant and unmistakably branded.

But the narrative doesn’t end there. It continues in Diorling 2—a second chapter layered with deeper texture and deeper hues. Burgundy, vanilla white, and navy blue bring warmth to jackets etched with cannage stitching, tone-on-tone or in visual contrast. The technical fabrics are not merely functional—they are quietly exquisite.

Mesh jackets embroidered with Dior Oblique and quilted puffers speak in fluent luxury, balancing performance with subtlety. These are clothes meant for snowflakes and snapshots, infused with refinement but designed to be worn without reverence.

In this seasonal reverie, Cordelia de Castellane doesn’t just design for children—she narrates their world, casting Britain as a magical backdrop where Dior heritage and childhood joy converge. The result is neither costume nor cliché, but a quietly brilliant meditation on elegance, scaled to size.
