Versace Reveal

Versace Reveal “Time, Myth, and Elegance”. Story by RUNWAY MAGAZINE. Photo Courtersy: Versace.

Versace was born in 1978 with Gianni Versace’s vision of a house where fashion would not only dress the body but also tell stories—stories of Rome, of myth, of eternity. The Medusa, chosen as its emblem, symbolized allure so powerful it could stop time itself. By the 1990s, this mythology naturally extended to watches, where the language of Versace—ornament, architecture, and bold design—could frame the very measure of hours and minutes.

The new Versace watches are not simple instruments; they are miniature architectures for the wrist. Inspired by the symmetry of Roman temples, by celestial maps, and by the sculptural grace of antiquity, each piece transforms timekeeping into wearable art. The familiar Greca motif becomes a border between worlds—past and present, myth and modernity—while Medusa appears as guardian of the hours.

Among the collection, Versace Reveal stands as both jewel and timepiece. Its squared case conceals the dial beneath a three-dimensional Medusa head, sliding open with a gesture as fluid as a secret passage in a Roman palace. It is not just about telling time—it is about unveiling it, as if the hours themselves were treasures waiting to be discovered.

In Versace’s universe, time is never ordinary. It is sculpted, adorned, and eternal—just like Rome itself.
