Byblos artistic director Manuel Facchini draws a collection inspired by a sense of movement and energy that reflects the dynamic nature of DNA and the natural world.

A diverse range of colors, pattern and materials have been used,  to showcase the richness and complexity of the natural world, and to highlight the importance of inclusivity and diversity in Nature, as in our society.

By emphasizing the spiral of the DNA in the collection, Byblos conveys a sense of vivacity and dynamism expressed throughout a wide range of colors, from green to yellow, passing through  Fuxia into the scarlet red and plunging into deep rock black.

Sinuous motifs, inspired by the double helix of DNA, intertwine perfectly with the curves of the body, caressing them and accentuating the explosive personality of the Brand: eco-high-tech innovation, rock details in a precise and contemporary vision.

Oversized coats in soft mohair cocoon in explosive colors alternate with double-faced pea coats and quilted jackets. Tailored blazers with rigorous cuts, highlighted by oversized shoulders but irreproachable in their graphic geometry. Genderless trousers that mix X and Y chromosomes, creating a fluid, bold , bond-less and boundary-less balance.

The “Infinity” BRA-BELT in thickened eco leather, with a helical shape that recalls the symbol of infinity, gently envelop and protect the waist or breasts.

Spiral dresses that fray organically on the shoulders creating unprecedented braces, expression of the chromosomes, while at the pelvis they melt into impalpable organic pleats, plastic expression of stainless telomeres. Helix motifs creep asymmetrically into the cocktail dresses, underlined by micro-encrustations of ton sur ton rhinestones along the crepe dresses.

The décolleté wraps itself in a helical spiral vortex, revealing and concealing at the same time. Hand-made (in Italy)embroideries,  underline with vinyls and rhinestones the interweaving and typical shapes of chromosomes in an inexorable spiral that wraps and protects like an armor micro dress, shrugs and tops.

Fluid viscose cady, soft fresh wool, soft mohair contrast with textured cottons, double wool and technical fabrics.

Woven cotton daywear for multi-pocketed (and multitasking) oversized cargo with a double bottom (dizzyingly contained by a zip, or super over delta open, adjustable, according to need) and “inside out” mini skirts exhibit the side half helix, distinctive trait genetically created in the collection.

The maximum expression of the Byblos “DNA” collection is represented by the genderless semi-spiral chokers along with maxi and mini earrings in rhodium-plated brass, studied through computational design with parametric architecture programs, an advanced technology that allows for extremely complex and very fine details, which is generally used in 3D architecture and created through the use of extremely innovative 3D prints, having no welding points which would contaminate the aesthetic cleanliness: as well as in Nature, in Byblos.
