Virginie Viard, creative director of Chanel, decided to show her collection on famous Parisian street near Boulevard Saint-Germain – rue Princesse and night club Castel. Castel has been known for generations by Parisian and who-is-who jet-set population since 60s. Founded by Jean Castel in 1962, then nicknamed “king of Parisian nights” with Regine, night club Castel on rue Princesse has since the 1960s become one of the most exclusive and closed places in Paris where the management reserves the right of entry. It is imperative to be accompanied by a faithful of the place, with his membership card. There is then a restaurant on the first floor, a bar on the ground floor and a nightclub in the basement. The establishment is a chic and distinguished mecca for all of Paris where political personalities, show business stars, journalists, socialites, actors, businessmen, sportsmen, models, having great time.

Paris divided by Seine on two has very distinguished fashion style. Parisians not often cross the Seine from one bank to another. Wonderful Jean Rochefort used to say that he takes “a Colonial helmet” to go to other bank of Seine. The difference is in everything, starting from the way of thinking, which reflects the fashion style.
