For the first time Chanel appeared in Metaverse or Web3 in the publication of RUNWAY MAGAZINE dedicated to the Spring Summer 2023 season together with other French brands. 

It is a first Metaverse interpretation of collections of Chanel, bringing this wonderful brand to the feature with the help of new technologies, giving new interactive reading experience.

RUNWAY MAGAZINE Web3 offered to the readers / viewers new fascinating, immersive experience.

Metaverse or Web3 magazine is a 3d version of magazine. In other words, what we see on a web-site: text, images, videos, java scripts to animate some elements – all these elements of publication we see in 2d – Web2. Web3 allows us to see the same elements but in 3d, and instead of white background, usual for web-sites (Web2), we can use an architectural structure, and place in this 3d environment texts, images, videos, animations, and 3d objects in 3d.

Tips – How to use Runway Magazine Fashion Tale Web3

This is a Web3 / Metaverse integration. You don’t need to register an account to explore the Runway Universe. Just choose a random name and an avatar. If you want to have customized avatar options then an account is required. If you prefer to use mobile device that you’ll have to install an application for better performance.

Use your mouse to turn around. On mobile devices use dots to walk around or jump.

Navigation is very simple – on the keyboard use keys: W, A, S, D, Space to jump.

To take the screenshots – use key T. To record videos – use key R.

To have a full experience use the music and the sounds.

If for some technical reason the Web3 screen is dead just reload the page.

You can see down the screen CONTROLS. Click ESC to close the screen. Reactions – down the screen allow you to dance, applaud, and show various reactions. You can talk if someone is around – you’ll have to allow the sound. To use chat – you’ll need to register an account.
