Dolce & Gabbana – Accessories – Fashion Devotion by RUNWAY MAGAZINE. Dolce & Gabbana is an Italian luxury fashion house founded in 1985 in Milan by Italian designers Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana.  Over the years this fashion house grew into ultimate luxury house. There are obviously many opinions about fashion created by Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana. Alta Moda (Haute Couture) and Alta Sartoria (Haute Couture for men) collections are always considered the one of the most luxurious and most expensive garments ever created. New York Times ones expressed an opinion that this is a fashion for very very rich people. Although New York Times forgot to mention what actually made these garments and accessories are so expensive – ARTISAN WORK.

Many many Italian and Sicilian artisan ateliers, who are keeping old Italian traditions in embroideries and craftsmanship, survived today as they involved in work for Dolce &Gabbana collections. It is indeed no mass production, and hundreds of people are introducing their amazing art in fashion industry. And yes, it is expensive, as there are so many hours dedicated to these amazing art pieces. These garments and accessories should be considered as art. Who’d blame Christie’s for selling painting of Leonardo da Vinci for very high price? And yes, garments of Dolce &Gabbana considered as masterpieces, and art pieces made on finest fabrics and adorned by the most exquisite embroideries.

So this story we created to prize these amazing artworks. German architect Ludwig Mies van der Rohe ones said “God is in the details”. Dolce & Gabbana are indeed in the details. This story is about bags, shoes, glasses – and all amazing accessories of this fashion house. We choose Fall-Winter 2018-2019 “Fashion Devotion” collection, as the one of the most spectacular and actually our favorite ready-to-wear collection, with crowns and wings, flowers and angels on the bags and shoes. And of course… with Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana action figures .
