Gucci Fall-Winter 2020-2021

Gucci Fall-Winter 2020-2021 Milan Fashion Week Ready-to-Wear. Have you seen a ghost movie? Not a “Casper” or “Ghostbusters”, some ominous dark and gothic-ridiculous movie? Or comedy like THE “Adams Family”? That would be it – new collection of Alessandro Michele, artistic director of Gucci, for Fall-Winter 2020-2021. Nothing new, by the way. Hyper-ridiculous looks from latest ghost comedies walked down the runway, crying about their past lives or their horrible deaths. Normally we laugh about these comic ghosts from the movies, wearing pseudo XIX century dresses. Alessandro Michele proposes to wear these flying nuns and busboys dress-robes, with little bit of Mormon’s fashion in sadomasochist way, today. Who he tries to amuse? What is so creative or artistic, or new? Nothing, except dull remake of the great costumes from the 90s classic movies.
