While Milan Men Spring Summer 2023 Fashion Week was unfolding fabulous collections for men Creative Director of Gucci Alessandro Michele came out with 5 pieces, couple of jackets and bags to show.

Alessandro Michele during the press-conference told long story about how he created this collection together with British singer-songwriter and actor, Harry Styles. He said that this is the synthesis of their long term friendship… whatever it means. Long story about how they exchanged messages on WhatsApp… mowing weed probably, and as a result created this Gucci HA HA HA collection.

Over many years, one motif has recurred in their conversations: “Ha Ha Ha”. Whether written out or expressed via emoji, the neologism, which is also the serial crazes of the initials of “Harry” and “Sally”… ups, sorry “Alessandro”, “HA HA HA” has come to symbolize their creative exchange and shared perspectives, drawing couple of candy bears on the jackets and hearts on the bags.

Stitched into the label of the new collection that gathers the elements characterizing their artistic paths and peculiarities, their relationship finds a tangible expression…. karma encounter, as they called it. I’d add here that karma is a bitch…

The Gucci Ha Ha Ha collection will be dropped somehow in mid-October 2022.
