Jay Davincii and Mickey Freemen Fall Winter 2019-2020 New York Fashion Week.

The average event experience for New York Fashion Week, is anything but glamorous.

Long lines, uncomfortable makeshift bench seats, and quarters so tight you’re practically sitting on your neighbor’s lap. This AW19 NYFW season, a group of industry powerhouses once again led the way for change.

Through scrappy collaboration and nimble production, they turned the dreaded “run-of-the-mill fashion week experience” on its head with their second ever the NASTYWOMAN x EYES & EDGE x Vulgar Magazin e production, powering Haus of Khendar and Freemen by Mickey AW19.

February 12th, at MDRN Intelligent living in the flat-iron district–this collab produced a
NYFW Runway Presentation.

The evening debuted two collections, by Haus of Khendar and Freemen by Mickey . The show-stopping evening was produced by some industry leaders of the Nasty Woman collective; Holly Hoover , Whitney Brielle , Tali Sanchez , and Stephanie Swango .

Rather than cold and over-curated, the team debuted the fashion haus collections, with a vibe that felt like a casual evening at your swaggiest bestie’s pad. Haus meet house.

Following the first presentation, Haus of Khendar , better known as the brainchild of the
multi-talented designer, stylist, and artist Jay Khendar Davincii , took over the runway.

The energy coming off of this collection was palpable. An unapologetically diverse selection of
models brought Davincii’s vision to life–in some cases borderline voguing in his now trademark “glitch” fabric and emitting jubilant cheers from the crowd.

The innovative collection was at once part-trendy (mock turtlenecks!), and part-timeless–unmistakably bearing the mark of his frequent collaborator, celebrity stylist Domi Reina .

More than just a fashion show, the team curated a one of a kind experience. Guests
lounged about on luxe, Italian sofas, and sipped complimentary cocktails, courtesy
Ciroc Vodka .

The crowd itself was unpretentious, yet a severely stylish mix of underground
artists, photographers, stylists, and up-and-coming icons. Lead designer, Jay Davincii aims to
continue building Haus of Khendar as a global brand while designing for trend setting
visionaries.
