THE FUTURE IN MOTION

Pierre Cardin has always been more than a brand. It is a movement, a vision of tomorrow dressed in the sculptural, the unexpected, the daring. For Fall-Winter 2025-2026, the House of Pierre Cardin once again reminds us why its legacy remains unparalleled. Under the glowing reflection of La Géode in La Villette, 600 guests gathered to witness something otherworldly: a collection not simply inspired by the Moon, but designed for those who dream beyond Earth’s horizon.

Futurism is in Pierre Cardin’s DNA. The house’s designers—led by Rodrigo Basilicati-Cardin but shaped by an entire team of creatives dedicated to preserving and expanding its visionary legacy—crafted 56 silhouettes that celebrated the celestial mystery of the Moon. But this was no nostalgic gaze at the night sky. This was the future, unfolding in luminous textures, radical volumes, and cosmic precision.

A WARDROBE FOR THE MODERN SPACE VOYAGER

Pierre Cardin’s futurism has always been grounded in function, and this season was no exception. Puffer jackets expanded into floating volumes, resembling weightless cocoons ready for deep-space travel. The violet puffer jacket, in particular, stood out as a piece that was both protective and sculptural, an insulated armor against the unknown. The pink poncho added a surprising warmth to the collection—both in hue and in its soft, enveloping structure—while the black-and-white poncho played with geometric contrast, giving the illusion of planetary shadows.

Slinky dresses, long and fluid, moved like a ripple in zero gravity, embodying the poetic side of space exploration. And then there was the blue-and-gold suit, a slinky masterpiece that felt like pure planetary motion—a piece made not just for walking, but for gliding through the future.

TECHNOLOGY, ECOLOGY, AND TIMELESS INNOVATION

Pierre Cardin has never been about simply chasing trends. It has always been about inventing them. This collection was no exception. In an era where sustainability is not an option but a necessity, the house made a powerful statement with its upcycling line—crafted from dormant stock, proving that the past can be reconstructed to serve the future.

The materials, too, pushed the boundaries of what fashion can be. Sea wool and technical fibers capable of regulating temperature were not just luxurious; they were practical, made for extreme conditions both on Earth and in orbit. Pierre Cardin has always imagined a world where fashion is not just beautiful but intelligent, adaptive, and forward-thinking.

A SHOW SUSPENDED BETWEEN EARTH AND MOON

La Géode, with its mirrored dome reflecting both the night sky and the world below, was the perfect stage for this futuristic ballet. As models walked under the ‘clair de lune,’ cosmic projections transformed the venue into something beyond time—neither past nor present, but a space of pure possibility. The audience of 600 watched as Pierre Cardin’s vision unfolded, suspended between two worlds: the one we know, and the one we are yet to discover.

With this collection, the House of Pierre Cardin does not merely pay tribute to the Moon—it reminds us that the future of fashion has always belonged to those bold enough to design it. And if this is what the future looks like, we are ready to take the next step.
