Stephane Rolland Haute Couture Fall-Winter 2018-19 collection is all about winter and voyage. A nomadism where cultural and artistic roots perpetuate new aesthetics. Two key-words : ergonomics and opulence. A natural presence, free from all constraints.
The movement is detached and generous. Comfort and sensuality, the textures are rich and sensory.
Wide pyjama-jumpsuits in silk, jersey bomber jackets with cashmere lapels, a half-jacket in vicuna wool worn like a scarf, a gilet-dress wrapped in cashmere crepe, a large coat in tobacco brown mohair embroidered with mother of pearl, a suede sweater embroidered with crystals and a gandoura in a cashmere veil…
The fabrics’ sensuality blends with the generosity of the volumes. The legs, wrapped in suede, embroidered with antique adornments, like a precious tattoo, break the balance of large ta≠eta ball gowns.
A single accessory, a case-clutch, made by the leather craftsman master Philippe Martial, is worn
as a belt and a cuff. At last, the ultimate refinement : four high jewelry sets laying on leather collars and an exceptional tiara by Boghossian.
