AltaRoma Fashion Week Spring Summer 2022. AltaRoma is the driving force of Italian emerging Fashion. The company owned, among others, by the Chamber of Commerce of Rome and the Lazio Region and supported by the ICE Agency, promotes the excellence of Made in Italy and the craftsmanship of stylists and designers with scouting and training activities to support young talents and new brands. Since 2002 it has been proposed as a meeting place where to explore new trends and as an important national and international showcase for creatives in the fashion sector.
For this edition of AltaRoma Spring Summer 2022 season designers presented Fashion & cinema. Two worlds that have always influenced each other, generating the wonders we all love. This year the AltaRoma Fashion Week fashion shows took place in the iconic Cinecittà Studios, some at Teatro 10, others in the scenic area of Ancient Rome, celebrating an indissoluble bond that enhances the art of dreaming.
Silvia Venturini Fendi, president of AltaRoma, intervened during the digital forum in Rome, an entrepreneur who has anticipated sustainable ideology for several years, who has focused on craftsmanship, a characteristic absent in the fast fashion sector: making a smaller production but obtaining higher quality, from the materials, up to the packaging, giving the consumer sensations related to the experience of buying luxury goods.
AltaRoma presented “Fashion Hub”. Fashion Hub is the Altaroma project dedicated to scouting, training and promotion of Fashion Talents of Made in Italy.
Altaroma provides to designers, coming from Fashion Academies, Institutes and Fashion Universities, the space of Fashion Hub, to support young designers to valorize their talent. With Fashion Hub, emerging designers have the entire know how of Altaroma, of a network of professionals and a considerable contact list. The press office room and the fashion rooms are also available.
With this project, Altaroma offers the possibility to bring collections on the catwalk and present them to an exclusive audience of fashion journalists.
Project of AltaRoma is “Who is on Next?”. Affirming its role as a showcase to discover and sponsor new talents, Altaroma presents the new edition of “Who Is On Next?”, the fashion scouting project organized in collaboration with Vogue Italia. The ideal setting for an experimental, fresh, and innovative approach to design, although without losing the connection with artisanal traditions and the excellence of Made in Italy, it is a unique chance for emergent brands to show their designs for a jury of experts and get support to consolidate their names in the National and International markets.
Another project of AltaRoma is “Showcase Roma”. Showcase is a promotional window for new talents who wish to present their accessory and clothing collections to a public of fashion insiders. The project aims to establish commercial relationship and facilitate the contacts B2B between emerging brands and national and international buyers.
Showcase was born as a natural follow up to the Scouting activities by Altaroma in collaboration with the Italian Ministry of Economic Development and the Italian Trade Agency. The project, dedicated to brands of Italian Fashion, with Italian production, is reserved to young designers and independent brands of Made in Italy, a worldwide recognized excellence.
AltaRoma also presented a digital platform. So all shows and the presentations are available online at official web-site
