Another sparkled jewel or better say bonbon new collection of Jeremy Scott Spring Summer 2019 presented at New York Fashion Week. Everyone is dreaming of 90s or recycling dreams. Jeremy Scott recycled absurd: polaroids of young Scott featured in prints 3-D embroideries of “Riot,” “Hyper,” “Sex” and “Peace.” “Over-shoulder” boots killed it all. The polish was especially notable here in the leather and sport mesh pieces inspired by motocross, and sui generis overalls with zips back and front and built-in stiletto heels. Jeremy Scott inspired Jeremy Scott, recycled himself.
“Myself,” Jeremy Scott said when asked about the inspiration behind his spring coed collection. The lineup was unquestionably Jeremy Scott with the bold colors, the provocative prints, the mix and match of grunge and punkish references, the sporty touches, the bling bling and that joyful, engaging creative explosion that is always at the base of the brand.
PEEK A BOO PIKA… JEREMY SCOCHU !
“Whenever I design, I think about my friends. Every collection is like a party; celebrating the fun, the pop, the creativity and the energy of the people and the collection,” says Scott.
And for the latest news : Jeremy Scott recently announced new collection for H&M. This collection launches globally, in select stores and online at HM.com, on November 8, 2018. With Disney and MTV characters and logos galore, this is one TV-inspired range that’s not for the faint of heart. The 1980s and 1990s are heavily at play, too, also as evidenced by the styling by longtime Scott collaborator (and noted more-is-more proponent) Carlyne Cerf de Dudzeele. Time to book the calendar!
