Oscars 2022 Award 94th Ceremony is one of the most expected and waited ceremonies of each year. And perhaps this one more than any pother. After Covid-19, during war in Ukraine, supporting as a group of United Nations, expecting another world economical crisis after excluding Russia from economical exchange… Godzilla and Oscars were definitely missing.
And here we are – the biggest evening of the year, honoring movies produced in 2021. Once again Dolby Theatre at Ovation Hollywood welcomed the most talented stars this year.
Apart from noisy smooches in front of the cameras performed by different couples (what’s with the kissing, by the way?), there were still something to see. There are still great actors like Benedict Cumberbatch and Will Smith, Jamie Lee Curtis and Judi Dench expressed their involvement and acknowledgement of reality.

What Oscars without the scandals. Will Smith slapped Chris Rock for the joke about his wife Pinkett Smith.
Chris Rock made a joke about Will Smith’s wife, Jada Pinkett Smith: “Jada, I love ya. G.I. Jane 2, can’t wait to see it.” Will Smith stunned storming the stage and slapped Chris Rock in the face. “Wow,” said Rock afterward. “Will Smith just smacked the s***t out of me.”
Will Smith returned to his seat but without sound it was apparent that he repeated to Rock, “Keep my wife’s name out your f***king mouth.” “Wow, dude. It was a G.I. Jane joke,” replied Rock. “Keep my wife’s name out of your f***king mouth,” Smith repeated as the audience went silent.
Pinkett Smith’s appearance is as a result of alopecia, an autoimmune disorder that she has been public about battling, which causes hair loss by attacking hair follicles.
Chris Rock later approached the Smiths to apologize, and Denzel Washington got involved in the scene.
It is indeed a scene from the movie…
When Will Smith received the Oscar for the Best Actor he gave very emotional speech: “”I want to apologize to the academy. I want to apologize to all my fellow nominees…'”

Pre-Oscars dinners and cocktails 2022 in Hollywood
Kristen Stewart, Phoebe Tonkin and Soo Joo Park were among the guests at the CHANEL and Charles Finch Pre-Oscars dinner celebrating the close ties between CHANEL and cinema.
Another Pre-Oscars cocktail held by Maison Giorgio Armani. Hollywood was out in force to celebrate Nicole Kidman on the eve of the Oscar’s at the newly refurbished Giorgio Armani boutique in Los Angeles where Roberta Armani hosted a cocktail. Special guest Sophia Loren was attending the cocktail reception.
So it was an amazing night….
And I personally felt something like Melissa McCarthy…. running together with her husband in Adidas tracksuits to the Pre-Oscar party….
