Thom Browne’s arrival in Paris marks the beginning of a year-long celebration of his business’s 20th anniversary, and if his past ready-to-wear shows are any indication, we can expect an extravagant production. Browne’s couture collection for both men and women, set to be showcased on July 3, is a testament to his dedication to representing American fashion on such a prestigious platform.

While Browne’s expertise lies in suiting, he is far from a minimalist. In fact, he can be aptly described as a maximalist, with a penchant for intricate layering and meticulous attention to detail. This aspect came to the forefront in his latest collection, as the opening looks featured strong shoulders and unusually short sleeves, providing a fresh perspective on his signature aesthetic.
