While the world was seemingly shutting down, Jean Paul Gaultier takes the opportunity of the Fashion Week to open its doors and share the behind the scenes of its Haute Couture House and preparation for the new show scheduled for January 2021. Preparation of new Jean Paul Gaultier NO-SHOW, guided by a new generation of Gaultier and new chosen designer Chitose Abe.

Jean Paul Gaultier announced that he will invite each season new designer to reinterpret the House’s codes and give their own vision of Haute Couture savoir-faire. For his first Haute couture collection in the vein of this new concept, Jean Paul Gaultier had chosen Chitose Abe, artistic director of the Sacai. Due to the complications and reorganization for the fashion week, the show has been scheduled for January 2021.

But this time Jean Paul Gauiltier and Chitose Abe decided to do the NO-SHOW for Haute Couture Fall-Winter 2020-2021 Digital and open the house and show the backstage preparation.
